Bhavyata Patel, M.D, MPH, born locally and raised as a Michigander, earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan prior to earning her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Patel also earned a Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice from Wayne State University School of Medicine and takes pride in preventative medicine and evidence-based management of chronic diseases for families and the community at large. She is also very passionate for health charities and global medicine and has held leadership roles in local and international organizations. Dr. Patel completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Detroit Medical Center (Sinai Grace)/ Michigan State University where she served as a Chief Resident. While greatly enjoying the full spectrum of family medicine, Dr. Patel has a particular interest in adolescent care and women’s health. In her spare time, Dr. Patel loves Zumba, Indian dance/music, and traveling. She also loves to spend time with her family, baking, and exploring different cuisines. Dr. Patel welcomes new patients and is on staff at Providence Hospital (Novi and Southfield) and Beaumont Hospital (Farmington Hills).
